“I’m a bag…and I look like a bag! But sometimes I feel like looking like a different type of bag! Like a Suave Bag”…is what our competition ought to recite everyday as they head to their workshops. Why? Because life’s too short to wear bring bags. Sadly, they can’t catch up. We are talking individual designs with unique shades and patterns. A million shades of Suave! Be yourself because the original is worth more than the copy.
I am a Suave Bag. I embody every aspect of the word. I look good and I’m not afraid to say it. My assembly requires an artistic mind such as the one that created me. I represent the African way in a light that makes my carrier proud to have me. I mix and match different fabric that complement each other in ways that only my creator envisioned; Batik meets Denim, Denim meets Leather, Kitenge meets Suede. As they say, the piece is an active part of the creative/transformative process; the piece is an activator.
I vary in print, colour, shape and size. I am versatile as you can take me on whatever journey you might be on. I blend in and still stand out. I bring your style to life.

It is a pleasure to meet you meeting me!

“Let’s be realistic”, is rapidly becoming an idiom to the less ambitious and the narrow visioned mortals, who dash to utilize the sentence in subject to brush off greatness.
“I’d like to create a reusable rocket that would drastically minimize the usage of fossil fuel and in turn make commercial space travel an achievable dream”, were the words of CEO of Tesla electric cars, Elon Musk. However, in every society the geniuses always face, what seem to be, unclimbable mountains of filthy opposition and unwarranted criticism from, well, you know the type of people I’m talking about.
Human advancement would be severely stagnated if constant false contempt towards new thinking would be the gospel of the day. What if that guy did not follow up on the apple falling off a tree? What if that other guy did not insist on the earth being a sphere and succumb to the flatness of the common folk’s thoughts? What if that petite guy never ‘pimped’ a butterfly? Rhetoric questions with answers!
It is imprudent to think inside the box and a cliche to tell you otherwise. We are a species being programmed to be afraid of the dark and not to think of the light at the end of the tunnel, or better yet, to create a source of brightness for exploring the blind spot. Always treading lightly and taking great care not to stir and disrupt with magnificence. Afraid of making enemies. Terrified of standing out with contrasting perspectives to the norm. Oblivious to our mission and impervious to our visions. This should not be the case, here’s why; Innovation and discovery stem out from curiosity and asking hard questions, eventually finding fulfilling answers. As simple as that. There’s the quite scary possibility of humans being the only intelligent life form in the whole universe, therefore we absolutely cannot conform to still waters when we can cause an up roar wave of exploration, expression, innovation and advancement.
So here you go, little mammal of the great blue space marble, take the initiative to leave your mark on the planet and let nobody stop you. If you feel like a piece of puzzle that does not fit anywhere, it’s probably a sign for you to make your own board game. Be a constant thinker and an avid practitioner of your dreams. It is possible to live forever.
Be different! That way, you will be easily visible and selective to success. Furthermore, define your own achievement. Anticipate Mondays when others are sulking at reminiscing the weekend that was, which always is, even when no progress is attained during that period.
So “let’s be realistic” and be realistic. You have a purpose. Find it, live it. We always have your back, even when nobody else does. *sub atomic mushroom blast billionaire hi-five!
